By plane

You will arrive at the Zagreb Aiport which is located outside of the city.

Bus transport to Zagreb Main Bus Station (ca. 5 Euros) is available. Buses leave approx. every 30 minutes.

By train

You will arrive at the Zagreb Main Train Station which is located in the centre of Zagreb, only 10 minutes by foot or 2 tram stations (using tram line 6 or 13) from the main city square, Ban Jelačić Square. It is also fully connected by public transport with other city parts.

By bus

You will arrive at the Zagreb Main Bus Station which is close to the city centre, and fully connected by public transport with other city parts.

You can take tram line 6 to arrive (5 tram stations) to the main city square, Ban Jelačić Square.

By car

Zagreb is connected by highway to all neighbouring countries. A highway toll is paid on site either by credit card or in cash. Before arrival, please try to reserve a parking place during your stay either in a hotel parking or in public parking garages throughout the city centre.

Zagreb offers various types of accommodation (hotels, hostels, apartments) depending on your budget and desired location in the city.

The weather in Zagreb during June and July is mostly sunny with small chance of rain. Daily temperatures are usually between 20 and 30 °C.

The official language of Croatia is Croatian. English language can be used for general communication with most people.

The national currency of Croatia is Croatian Kuna (HRK). 1 Euro is equal to approx. 7.5 HRK. Cash in HRK can be retrieved at ATM’s. International credit cards are widely accepted.

If you are travelling from outside of the European Union (EU), please ensure that you have all necessary documents required to enter the Republic of Croatia.

The process of obtaining all required documents may take up to several weeks. Important official information is given at the website of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affaires of the Republic of Croatia. For those in need for visa, the letter confirming their attendance at the meeting will be issued upon request.
